Martin Ranch Winery is located about four miles up Redwood Retreat Road in the south-eastern edge of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our vineyards sit in a quiet foothill setting where warm, sunny days allow grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon to develop depth and character, while cooler evenings help maintain balance and freshness. It’s a classic valley growing environment, consistent sunlight, steady ripening, and a long growing season that rewards patience. We farm our estate vineyards with intention, walking the rows regularly and making thoughtful decisions throughout the year. The wines that come from this site reflect where we are: Santa Clara Valley fruit, carefully grown, honestly made, and rooted in this stretch of land we call home.
