Breakfast Burritos

I start with a tasty fun bean by Rancho Gordo. I always add peppers, tomatoes, onions and garlic. I will throw in some salsa and veggies like squash or green beans when I have them in the garden. Last but not least I love using grain. It can vary from rice, quinoa , faro wild rice and even buckwheat groats. Also don’t forget your passion, it always helps! Then we wrap up into a flour tortilla.

Basic whole Food Plant Based Burritos:

  • Beans

  • Grains

  • Onions

  • Tomatoes

  • Peppers

  • Salsa

  • Veggies

  • And a little bit of love!

In a pan combine onions, peppers, garlic and tomatoes. Sauté until soft and a little brown. Add cooked beans and cooked grains or rice. Mix together until combined. You can have a burrito mix for a tortilla or a bowl!
